While taking a walk in Saint John's beautiful Rockwood Park, I noticed how so many objects and signs of summer looked so out of place in our winter. The idea of a Summer Sleeping series came to me as I was wondering around the swimming spots of my childhood.
This little work is on gallery wrap canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It is designed to be hung "as is" and all hanging hardware is attached.
