On an October walk, I passed these beautiful trees and ferns growing to the side of Sagmore Point Rd. I loved the colours and was intrigued with the possible composition. As I worked on the piece the artist in me got a little creative with the ink, always a risk after so many hours painting in the delicate watercolour details.
The work was painted on Winsor and Newton paper and is matted to 36 x 24 inches and is framed in a metal frame.
