This piece features a lot of layering of colour. The trunks of the trees have several layers of colour built up to give depth and almost a glowing quality. The sky was painted in several layers which was then almost covered by leaves.
I love the feeling some paths give of being sheltered from the elements and how the bits of light peek through the leafy canopy.
This painting is on gallery wrap canvas and the painting goes around the sides allowing it to hang without a frame. All framing hardware is attached.
