I was having fun. Another painting just seemed to paint itself. Left brain only messed things up as I was working on this one. It is very textured in the flowers where I used a knife for the focal flowers. I loved doing crazy textured works when I first started painting. Like a fool I listened to arly teachers who told me not to do that. As I so often say, "I bought the materials; I'll use them anyway I please." Texture is part of the composition in this work. It is an "in your face" work. It is not a painting that will sit quietly in a corner of your room.
The work is unframed. The sides are painted black and hanging hardware is attached. It would look nice framed but I do like it as it is.
