This is White's Bluff Wharf on the beautiful Saint John River. So many families would pack a picnic lunch on a Sunday, bundle the kids in the car and take the ferry and drive to this wharf. Older kids would be allowed to jump off the wharf and the younger ones would be on the beach. Boats would also tie up on the wharf as well.
White's Bluff Wharf has fallen into disrepair as of late and there are many folks fundraising hoping to get enough just to keep the wharf usable. It would be such a shame to see this New Brunswick landmark no longer there.
