I've fallen in love with The Fundy Trail and especially Long Beach. This is my second painting of the spectacular views here. I can usually count on the Bay of Fundy to have at least a little hint of fog to give an aura of mystery to my painting. I could spend hours sitting here, watching the water, and listening to the waves. These are the highest tides in the world and I find something so comforting and soothing just being around this amazing process of water rising, then receding. It's magic and such a gift to witness.
I've used oil pants on regular canvas, stapled in the back. I am placing the painting in a recycled black, floating frame when it's dry.
