It's very different to paint with acrylic onto ceramic tile. It's a little like painting on bisque-ware as the background often shines through and becomes a part of the painting. There has been a bit of a learning curve here but it's been fun.
This is a painting of a field not too far from Dipper Harbour, New Brunswick. I just loved the way the yellowing field looked next to the cold Bay of Fundy water and, of course, there were birch trees! I knew I had to paint this scene.
