These lilies are special to me. The gardener where my father in law worked allowed him to dig some of these lilies. He planted them at the family cottage. He and I were the only ones who liked them. Cubby offered me some to place in my garden when we bought our home. They have been blooming all of these years and I always call them, "Cubby's Lilies". I think of him every time I look at them.
