If you have ever lived in the South End of Saint John, you know Tin Can Beach. It's a different beach with a lot of rock and railway tracks.  My first visit there was a disappointment but Tin Can Beach really grows on a person. I love the feeling of isolation here, even though you are still uptown.

In this painting you can view Partridge Island with the rocky causeway that leads to the island. I have walked this once. Not a good walk for someone afraid of heights that can't jump. Partridge Island is now deserted but has a fascinating history.

This tile has had a protective coating applied and is framed in a custom black wooden frame.
