A fun painting full of whimsy, this piece was painted from life. The tulip plant was bought over a week ago and is a little on the full blown side. Tulips are easier to paint while they are still tight but not nearly as interesting. It feels so good to loosen up and just have fun painting.
This painting continues around the sides of the canvas in a very loose manner. It is designed to be hung without a frame.
