The fellow in the white hat made me think of friends in the trades who often referred to people as "The White Hat". It just seemed the perfect title to this painting. Again, this is New River Beach. With the highest tides in the world, our beaches, change dramatically throughout the day. With the shallow water here, I think New River may just be the most changeable beach i have ever seen. I will never tire of painting it.
The sides are painted black on this scene and all hanging hardware is attached do there is no need to have this one framed.
