This painting was inspired by an old house I saw while out for a drive "down shore". Many homes in New Brunswick have been built in a similar style. I was very taken by the worn white paint and field of wildflowers. I changed many things about the house to make a good painting. As I was working on this, I started to wonder about the people who might live here and begun thinking of the folks who dig clams at low tide. "The Clamdigger's House" just seemed like a great title for the painting.
Like the rest of this series, this painting is framed in a custom black wooden frame. As many of you already know, these little paintings look great in groupings as well as solitary.
I do ship and shipping in Canada is usually in the $20- $25 range for paintings of this size and weight. Also 2 tile paintings can usually travel in the same box for the same amount. Please contact me for shipping charges to your specific address.
