I took a photo from Black River Wharf recently. The sun was sinking and the clouds were back-lit. I loved the incredible light and feeling of peace and calm. I tried to recreate that feeling in this work.
This painting is on a professional quality cradled wood panel with natural wood sides which creates a very contemporary alternative to framing. There is very little texture in this painting and it was painted using a lot of glazing which I find makes the light in the painting seem to glow.
All hanging hardware is attached. Feel free to contact me for more photos of this work.
I do ship throughout Canada and the U.S.. Please contact me for shipping charges to your address.
