This work was inspired by the late afternoon sun at Duckpond Beach. In this painting, I was concentrating on capturing a feeling rather than an exact image. To make the painting say what I wanted to express, I used a lot of artistic licence. I just hope I was able to express the feeling of peace that just seemed to fill me as I stood there.
The painting is on gallery canvas and continues loosely around the sides. All hanging hardware is attached as this painting was designed to hang without a frame. It could also be hung in a floating frame should the purchaser choose to do so.
