This painting is from a photo I took of the full moon shining on the bay. I didn't have a tripod so I had my work cut out for me trying to make a painting out of the poor image. Luckily a fair bit of that scene was committed to memory. I wanted to capture the fascination that I have always had with the moon, especially when it's full. I only hope that this piece can bring a little comfort and peace to the viewer.
