"And the River Waits" by Sheila Howell

    Titled,  "And the River Waits".   I love the winter light, the way snow reflects all the magnificent colours. There is a heaviness about the light you can almost feel.  

    I took this photo over a year ago and it has been haunting me ever since.  There was a total stillness on the river and just being there was an almost spiritual experience.  How often do we see something this beautiful and just keep driving by. I feel very fortunate to be able to tuck such beautiful memories away and bring them to life again another day. Hopefully, I've captured that sense of wonder I feel at such moments.
