In order to have a good selection of Holiday Paintings, I do have to start now for next year. I absolutely love painting little snow scenes, both real and imaginary but I simply cannot paint a winter scene when I am trying to squeeze the last out of summer or autumn. In some superstitious, childish way, I always hope if I ignore the coming winter, it just might forget to come our way.
You are getting a "sneak peek" of next year's holiday works which I will keep painting as long as the spirit of the season moves me.
"All Is Bright" is a piece I painted as a reward to myself. Sometimes, I really need to cut loose and have some fun.
