Feels good to be painting full sized works again! This is the corner of Germain and Horsfield Streets and that little brown building houses my studio. I often have the studio open for people to walk in and visit and have a look around. I am very happy here. It is a very caring and supportive neighbourhood in the middle of the city. When you are walking in this area, everyone says, "Good morning" or "lovely day" whether they know you or not. It's easy to be happy in this environment.
This is a fun painting in that I captured the details I liked and felt would make the painting enjoyable. Other details I left out and I eyeballed the perspective, giving some areas a wonky look. The work is on gallery wrap canvas and the painting continues around the sides so it can be hung without a frame. All hanging hardware is attached.
