Just some trees, ferns and a bit of goldenrod growing next to the road is the subject matter here. The transition area between open spaces and the wooded areas is something that I have been observing lately. I am always fascinated at how quickly the trees can close in and I love the way I can only see little bits of the actual woods until, of course, I enter there.
This work is on gallery-style canvas and the sides are painted black. All hanging hardware is attached so this painting can be hung and displayed without a frame.
