I was feeling a little down on this dreary February day. I love painting lupines so I decided to cheer myself up by doing a little lupine painting. These guys were growing wild at Pocologan, New Brunswick. In June, the lupines crowd out everything on the sides and the middle of the highway. They take over vacant land and some people let them grow wild on their lawn space. Seeing a field of lupines does a heart good. We are very blessed in this part of the world to have them growing wild in such numbers.
This little canvas painting continues around the sides and has all hanging hardware attached. It was designed to be displayed without a frame but the buyer certainly could have it framed if desired.
