While driving from moncton to Alma, we stopped at a church to admire the view and I walked around taking some photos. I used a lot of artistic license to create a nice composition here. It was so important for me to convey the depth of this view and the feeling of being able to see for miles. I did my best to capture what i felt as well as what I saw. This painting is part of my Wildflowers and Water series.
This work is on a cradled panel. I have stained and waxed the sides giving it a very timeless presentation.
